About the course

The measurement and assessment of several key performance indicators (KPIs) in the context of circular economy efforts is the primary emphasis of this course. In order to evaluate the efficacy of circular economy ideas and practices, students will learn how to design, execute, and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs).

Completing this course will equip you to:

Discuss the importance of circular economy in terms of challenges and opportunities
Measure the CE Impact using different tools
Learn and apply Circular Finance and Investment Metrics
Experiment and reflect on circular KPIs on specific projects

Stathis Devves

Stathis Devves (https://ae4ria.org/members/stahis-devves/) works as a Project Monitoring Manager for special technical projects of Hellenic Petroleum Group, regarding Installations of foreign affiliate companies (International Division) and is a PhD candidate under the Supervision of Prof. Phoebe Koundouri. He has worked for years for Refineries Machinery Maintenance, as a Coordinating Engineer for Major Overhauls. He has also worked at construction companies, assisting in the installation and application of E/M equipment. Academically, holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Mechanical Engineering & Aeronautics Department and a MSc in Energy Economics, Strategy & Law.

Conrad Felix Michel Landis
Dr. Conrad Felix Michel Landis (https://ae4ria.org/members/conrad-felix-michel-landis-2/) is a Post-Doc Researcher at the Research Laboratory on Socio-Economic and Environmental Sustainability (RESEES), Athens University of Economics and Business, and a Senior Researcher at ATHENA RC, Sustainable Development Unit. He is an Adjunct Professor at the MSc Banking and Finance, Athens University of Economics and Business, and the Indian Institute of Management of Rohtak. He holds a PhD in Financial Econometrics (Asset Pricing) from the Athens University of Economics and Business, a M.Sc. in International Economics and Finance, and a BSc in Economics from the Department of International & European Economic Studies, Athens University of Economics and Business. His research interests lie in econometrics, sustainable finance, environmental economics, empirical finance, and numerical optimization.

Lydia Papadaki
Lydia Papadaki ( https://ae4ria.org/members/lydia-papadaki/) is a PhD candidate at the Athens University of Economics and Business (Scholarship awarded by the Academy of Athens).She is a researcher at the Alliance of Excellence for Research and Innovation on Aephoria (AE4RIA) and has been involved in numerous EU-funded projects, the majority of which are financed by Horizon, Erasmus+, and EIT Climate-KIC. Lydia has led over 50 participatory workshops and seminars, as well as delivered lectures, seminars, and environmental awareness programs to a diverse audience, including the general public and all educational levels. She received her M.Sc. in Economics and Policy of Energy and the Environment at University College London (UCL), and her BSc (Distinction) in Economic Theory and policy at Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB). Her main areas of interest are economics, innovation acceleration, behavioural economics, circular economy, blue growth, systems innovation, stakeholder engagement and sustainable development.
